How heartbreakingly sad does this pug look? Seriously, it’s nearly making me cry over here. Well if you every feel as lonely as this little pug then here are 5 ways to bring you out of the blues and feeling good again!
1) There is nothing lonelier than sitting staring at the same 4 walls, it’s your home, you know everything already, so get out! Get out of there, put clean clothes and take a gander into the outside, a little fresh air never hurt anybody!
2) Don’t take it personally, if people are busy or haven’t got time chances are it’s nothing to do with you!
3) Get cleaning the oven, or bake a cake, even sort out your wardrobe, do things that have been nagging you since last October, you’ll feel 10x better when you have something to do (btw this is the only time I would ever advocate cleaning the oven so don’t worry).
4) As an English person living in Germany, I get waves of loneliness and homesickness and I just WANT to hear the wonderful British language! So do just that! Stick the telly/netflix on and indulge in lovely English words (it will give you the warm and fuzzys).
5) Reach out, no I don’t mean physically (this is not a yoga class), reach out and tell someone, don’t be too proud to send someone a cheeky text and sit at home and be miserable because you definitely maybe might explode.
Love Robyn.
Love the pug pic! It reminds me of ‘angry cat’. Also, if No.1 is a problem, you could always move into an octagonal room, that has four more walls, so hey! You then have eight walls to stare at. Result!

Or.. even better, you could combine it with #3’s “do something” and build four more walls to stare at. You could even install extra windows, you know, for the fresh air. 😉 Or just adopt that pug.. poor thing.

Volunteer with an organization that could use your help. That is one way you can connect with others and help them at the same time.

Well said RobynChristi! This is from an eighty year old American who was bored a couple of years ago/ What did I do? I started writing , Even tho’ i d9n’t enjoy paper work. I do a blog and have written three poorly edited books and self published them. I made a few dollars and even sold a couple in The British Isles and one in Australia. Writing can be exiting and can take away much boredom when it is flowing.
Best wishes to you!

Or you could write sad sappy poems like I do and make the lives of those who read it miserable as well. Knowing that a lotta people share the same kinda misery is very comforting.
